Making your gift through payroll deduction enables you to split your gift into installments, spreading it over as many or as few pay periods as you wish. Payroll deduction makes giving quick and easy to budget.

Spousal Matching Gifts

Many companies match donations made by employees, their families and retirees. Please ask your spouse’s human resources office for their company’s matching gift form. Send this form to giftinfo@du.edu with “Matching Gift Form” as the subject line. You may also enclose their form, your gift and this gift form together and mail to:

Why should I give to the organization that pays my salary?

We all support causes that we believe in, and we hope that your involvement with DU leads you to a belief in our shared mission. If so, your financial support is another way you can make a difference and cast a vote of confidence in our future.
Will others know the amount of my gift or where I direct my contribution?

No. We do not release gift amounts or designations without the donor's permission.
Why is it important for me to give to DU every year?

The loyal giving by DU alumni and friends helps shape the next generation of leaders and life-long learners. Your support of students and programs at DU bring positive change to our communities and ensure our commitment to making the world a better place.
Will I receive a year-end tax receipt from the University?

You can choose to receive a year-end summary of your gifts to DU by contacting the Office of Gift Administration & Records Management at (303) 871-2311; otherwise you will receive a gift receipt for each gift shortly after it has been processed by University Advancement.
Does my payroll deduction pledge renew automatically annually?

No. Payroll deductions must be set up each year. Please contact the Office of Gifts and Records Management Team for any other questions at giftinfo@du.edu or 303-871-2311.
If I'm still paying on a payroll deduction pledge from last year, how will I know when my pledge is complete?

The Advancement Team will notify you via email when your pledge is complete and you will be invited to renew at that time.
